It's a pleasure to meet you.

When I'm not managing awesome products, I can be found riding my Peloton, on the tennis court, or in an Irish dance class.

For now, you can find me on LinkedIn.

How I got started in Product

I have dabbled in corporate communication and information design throughout my professional career, working closely with IT management to execute the strategy and deliver important messages to senior stakeholders and decision-makers.

In my role as a Product Manager, I aim to bridge the gap between people and technology. As I've explored ways to better reach my users, I discovered how the design process can help me understand people and process better, while also utilizing my communication and creative skills to design functional tools.

What I'm working on now

Designing, delivering, and managing products with the end-user in mind is easier said than done. At my current company, we have historically been focused primarily on delivery, rather than research and design which has negatively impact user adoption.

Recently, there has been an increased interest in how UX design can ensure we develop products that are fit for purpose. As the department UX "Subject Matter Expert", I am working closely with other product owners to establish design standards for our applications and train them in basic UX principles.

Why I'm curious

I love asking questions. Any question. All questions. Why do people do what they do? Why do they say what they say? And why do they do and say it like that?

When I was a kid, my mom said I was too nosy. To her amusement, I turned that habit into a profession in the form of business analysis and product management and design. They are all about understanding people, why they behave the way the way they do, what motivates them, and how that aligns with business and technology.

I am proficient in a variety of tools.
